Ok, I have heard about the Berkey Light and it's "cousins" for a long time and now that I have one, it is amazing. I put the red food color in it too and it is gone when the water reaches the bottom. I had a test strip for a RO set up that I never installed, so I put that in a cup and waited. It shows nothing. no color change on the strip. It is a very nice design.
